Better, not perfect

Your home doesn’t need to look like a magazine. It needs to work for you.

I create organizing systems around the way you actually live, using what you already have whenever possible. The result is a home that feels lighter, functions better, and is easier to maintain.

What it’s like to work with me

A clear process,
at your pace.

You can work beside me for the whole project, or step away and check in at agreed-upon times. I’ll never donate or discard your belongings without your approval.

About Cally

Home should be a place where you can take a deep breath.

I’ve always craved order and harmony in my life. Growing up in a military family meant moving every one to three years, and as an adult, traveling the world with my husband and three kids taught me how to make many different spaces feel like home.

I love the idea of home as a place that feels safe, comfortable, functional, and calm. I also know that no two homes are alike, just as no two people are alike. One of my favorite parts of this work is getting to know the people I’m helping and creating systems that work for the way they really live.

Professional organizing is about much more than tidying up. It’s about getting to the root of what works for a household, making thoughtful decisions about what stays, and letting go of what no longer serves you.

When I’m not organizing, you’ll usually find me with a good cup of tea, singing in a choir, watching my kids in their many activities, laughing with friends, or soaking up Colorado.

Kind words

Real homes.
Real relief.

Cally did an amazing job tackling some of the most overwhelming spaces in our house. She helped us sort through years of accumulated stuff, decide what was truly worth keeping, and then created simple, clearly labeled systems that actually make sense and are easy to maintain. I was especially impressed with how she worked with our kids—she was patient and thoughtful, gently helping them recognize what they had outgrown without ever making them feel pressured. She has a real talent for making a daunting project feel manageable, and the difference in our home has been incredible. I would absolutely recommend Calico Organizing

— Sean

Over the years, Cally has helped me organize three very different kitchens: a tiny Old Town kitchen, an overwhelmingly large new-build kitchen, and now our current kitchen. I’ve had her work her magic solo, and I’ve also had the privilege of organizing alongside her and learning from her in the process. She doesn’t just make a space look beautiful—she has taught me how to actually live well in my kitchen and use the space in a way that makes everyday life easier. Cally’s services are truly worth their weight in gold. I’ll absolutely be calling her again for my next project.

Frequently asked questions

A few things you might be wondering.

Inviting someone into your home is personal. Here’s what you can expect before we get started.

Do I need to be there while you organize?

Not the whole time. You’re welcome to work side-by-side with me, or we can set up check-ins at key decision points. The more available you are for decisions, the faster the process can move—but we’ll create a plan that works around your life.

What happens to things I no longer want?

Depending on the item, we can donate, repurpose, recycle, or dispose of it. You’ll always have control over where your unwanted items go.

Will you throw anything away without asking me?

No. Before we begin, we’ll establish clear guidelines for what I can handle independently and what you want me to check with you about. When there’s any question, I’ll ask.

Do I need to buy organizing products ahead of time?

Sometimes we can identify useful products before the project begins. Other times, the right solution only becomes clear once we’ve emptied and sorted the space. We’ll discuss any purchases before they’re made.

How do I know how long my project will take?

During your consultation, I’ll give you my best estimate based on the space and what you’d like to accomplish. If we uncover more than expected, I’ll talk with you before moving forward.

Do you offer in-home consultations?

Yes. We’ll begin with a free 15-minute phone consultation, then decide whether an in-home consultation would be useful before your organizing session.

What areas do you serve?

I primarily serve Longmont, Erie, Boulder, Lafayette, Frederick, Berthoud, Loveland, and surrounding Northern Colorado communities. I’m open to traveling for the right project; additional travel costs may apply.

How does pricing work?

We’ll start with a free phone consultation, followed by a paid site visit if one is needed. Organizing services are $75 per hour for Cally, plus $75 per hour for each additional organizer working on the project. Visit the Pricing page for full details.
